Download Windows 11 Free in Spanish
Some users can download Windows 11 the same way they would get any new version of Windows. Still, we introduce you 3 different methods for you to update in case of meeting (or not) the above requirements.
If your PC is compatible, use Windows Update
You just have to go to Setting> Update and security> Windows update and click Search for updates.
- If available, you will see the feature update to Windows 11. Click Download and install.
- Otherwise, you have some alternative options.
If not supported, edit the Windows registry
If your PC does not meet the requirements to download Windows 11 and update, then you will need to access the Windows 10 Registry Editor.
- To open Beginning and write regedit.
- Go into HKEYLOCALMACHINE SYSTEM Setup MoSetup (you can use the search bar).
- click at the bottom of the folder> choose the option New > create a new DWORD register (32 bits) with the name AllowUpgradesWithUnsupportedTPMOrCPU with value 1.
- Restart Windows 10 and look for the update.
Important: it only works when you have TPM 1.2 instead of TPM 2.0.
Alternative: Use an installation USB
If you cannot download Windows 11 with these methods and you don’t want to complicate with the previous option, you have another backup option, but keep in mind that it is also somewhat complicated. We strongly recommend that you consider waiting for the update to arrive on your device.
If you are sure you want to continue, you can create a Windows 11 installation media or ISO file that you can record on a USB with the software Rufus.
To finish: What if I want to go back to Windows 10?
It is possible that you have tried to download Windows 11 on an unsupported PC and you have regretted, because it does not work well, there are problems and you prefer to wait for new versions. In this case, it is best to return to Windows 10 to be able to use your computer correctly.
You have 10 days to return and to do so you just have to access Setting > System > Recovery > Return.
